Aaron Scott joins the lab

Aaron Scott joined the group as a PhD student in September 2025. He comes to the lab from Newcastle, where he completed his Integrated Masters investigating Gram-positive protein secretion systems and related machineries.

His PhD explores novel outer membrane proteins in mycobacteria, combining cryo-EM and biophysical techniques with bioinformatics, functional assays and -omics screens. Welcome, Aaron!
